lose it.

We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed;

perplexed, but not driven to despair;
persecuted, but not forsaken;

struck down, but not destroyed.

2 Cor 4:8-9

I hope these verses will avail those who think life is hopeless. Guess none of us has ever come close to 'crushed'. Each tumble prepares us for the next breakthrough, for the next greater things that await us in life. We all have to fall down to learn what is pain so that we won't be so vulnerable, won't be so raw next time. You ever seen a delicate, fair and unscarred warrior in wars? (Okay, I've never seen an actual one myself. Let's take reference from the movies.)

Affliction, confusion, persecution and injury don't kill us...

What really kills us is our lack of faith and grit to move on after each affliction.

The harder you fall, the firmer you will be when you get your feet back on the ground again.

Then you would be more on guard when the bigger giants that dwell in the deeper corners of life find you.
